POCKET-SIZED CAMPAIGNING

Small
footprint.
Big change.

A tiny platform for people with very big ideas. Fast to put into the world. Beautiful to use. Respectful of the people who make change happen.

Meet the challenge

In the making. With a little Algiers attitude.

Sunlit white buildings of Algiers overlooking the blue Mediterranean, framed by green trees
FROM ALGIERS,
WITH POSSIBILITY.
A city full of life. A platform with the same ambition.

01 / THE BEAUTIFULLY UNREASONABLE BRIEF

How much change
can we fit in
a pocket?

We’re building Algiers to find out.

A campaigning platform that does the essential things brilliantly: make a page, bring people together, take action and keep the conversation going.

The ambition? Millions of actions. A tiny server footprint. A very small bill. And a whole lot of soul.

That’s the challenge we’re testing—not a benchmark we’re claiming. We’ll let the measurements do the talking.

02 / THE RULES WE’RE BUILDING BY

Light on resources.
Full of life.

01

Ready, set, Go.

A small Go application. Few moving parts. The aim: spend your time getting a campaign into the world, with less time spent setting up software.

02

Nimble. Not fragile.

Tiny should still mean dependable. We’re testing for busy days, unexpected restarts and the moment a good idea suddenly takes off.

03

People aren’t data mines.

Collect less. Make consent clear. Let members see, export and delete their information. Respect belongs in the foundations.

04

Beautiful is useful.

Pages with personality, built to welcome people. Keyboard, screen reader, older phone, slower connection: everyone deserves a good experience.

05

AI, with an off switch.

A little help with layouts and words, when you choose it. The promise we’re working towards: every essential task still works with AI off.

06

Keep the conversation going.

Campaign email with Stalwart’s open-source mail infrastructure. Keep people informed, honour their choices and report back after the action.

03 / SMALL TOOL. BIG PERSONALITY.

Go on.
Play with
possibility.

A campaign page should feel like your campaign. Here’s a little taste of the idea.

Interactive concept demo. The examples are prewritten; no AI service is called and nothing you do here is sent to a campaign.

YOUR NEXT GOOD IDEACASBAH BLUE
A LITTLE SHADE. A LOT OF GOOD.

More trees.
Happier streets.

Let’s bring more shade, cleaner air and a little more green to our neighbourhood.

A little cheer. Zero personal data collected.

04 / A NAME WITH SOME SOUL

A little
Algiers
in the code.

White façades. Blue horizons. Streets that climb, turn and surprise you.

Algiers takes its name and its colour from a city full of life. We want to bring some of that spirit to the tools people use to change their corner of the world.

05 / BIG AMBITION. HONEST MEASUREMENTS.

We’re going
small on purpose.

CURRENTLY
BUILDING
Millions

of actions

The scale challenge. Test real workloads and publish what holds up.

TARGET · TO BE PROVEN
Megabytes

worth measuring

A tiny memory budget. Count the application and the full setup separately.

TARGET · TO BE MEASURED
100s

with people in mind

Aim high in Lighthouse and work towards WCAG 2.2 AA, including human checks.

TARGET · TO BE VERIFIED

Build small. Care deeply. Make some noise.
